Final Main Event Results
Jarod Minghini and Will Chao started heads-up play separated by 3 antes, so they looked at the numbers and decided on an even-chop, playing one hand face-up for the trophy that Minghini (above) snags.
Minghini is debating taking his winnings on heading off to Alaska to enjoy hitting the snow for some away-from-the-felt time. Chao just returned from a family vacation in Hawaii, landing at midnight and somehow made it by driving from the Bay Area to Reno in time to play a few Day 1 levels ahead of the dinner break.
The tournament came to an end very fast - from Ian Steinman having his Aces Cracked by the Ace_King of Minghini in 5th place, to Adam Yamauchi out in 4th and Shawn Van Asdale out in 3rd - the three eliminations out in 3 consecutive hands.
Here's the final results for the Main Event.

Nice run Jarod...
ReplyDeleteLucky and skilled guy, Congrats! He must be totally proud of himself. If I were him I would definitely spend it all on traveling Europe. He also must be very risky if playing at such a high level. As a small gambler, I have some small pleasant surprises which I earn gambling online at bgaming casino list but I'm really not sure about the big games.
